This is a good resource for Spanish speakers trying to learn English! The "Para Dummies" series ("For Dummies") does a good job of breaking down the main concepts and providing interesting examples and explanations.

Fluent Forever: How to Learn Any Language Fast and Never Forget It 
By: Gabriel Wyner

Gabriel Wyner created a unique language learning method based on a focus on pronunciation, word association, and spaced-repetition memorization. Check out the book to learn more!

The Elements of Style, Fourth Edition
By: William Strunk Jr. and E. B. White

This book is my go-to reference in English writing! It is a bit academic, but it has a lot of good tips, explanations and clarifications regarding writing, grammar and composition.

GoGo Lingo
GoGo Lingo, Music CD, Spanish / English

This CD has creative, fun songs that are sung in both English and Spanish to help your child learn both! I love this CD. You can also find it on Spotify and YouTube. 

Girl Scouts Greatest Hits We Change the World
Melinda Caroll

For Girl Scouting, this is one of the classics! They have newer CDs out, but this is the one I grew up on. 

Goodnight Moon 
By:  Margaret Wise Brown 

This is one of those classic books, and I personally have it in English, French, and Spanish. I recommend a board book if you=re little one is an infant or toddler. 

The Very Hungry Caterpillar
By:  Eric Carle

Another classic, this book is great for teaching colors, counting, and food. We have this book in English and in Spanish, but you can also get a dual-language version if you wish!

Es Hora de Dormir / Time for Bed (Dual Language Version)
By:  Mem Fox

This is a really sweet bedtime book that highlights different animals through poetry. The illustrations are just lovely!

Brown Bear, Brown Bear (Dual Language Version)
By:  Bill Martin Jr. 

Another classic book, this repeats colors and animals. I've read this so much to my daughter in English and ASL that I have it memorized!

Buenas Noches, Pequeña Nutria / Good Night, Little Sea Otter (Dual Language Version)
By: Janet Halfmann

The illustrations in this book are lovely, and I enjoy all of the sea animals it introduces my child to in both English and Spanish!

If You Give a Mouse A Cookie
By: Laura Numeroff

Who doesn't love the books in these series? The illustrations add so much more to the story, and it is delightful.

Singable Songs for the Very Young: Great with a Peanut-Butter Sandwich
Raffi

Raffi is a beloved classic, one that many, many kids in America grew up listening to. I've got this CD for my daughter. 

We're Going on a Bear Hunt: Anniversary Edition of a Modern Classic
By: Michael Rosen

I have very fond memories of going on bear hunts with my father, and I'm so excited to get to do that with my daughter!

I'll Love You Forever
By: Eric Carle

This is such a sweet classic about a mother's love. 

Peek Inside Animal Homes
By:  Usborne Books

This book has cool flaps and interesting textures for your child to interact with, as well as lovely illustrations. 

**Usborne books are more expensive on Amazon. I really recommend connecting with an Usborne consultant to purchase these books. If you don't know one, I like to use Mama LLama Linguist.

Baby's Very First Play Book: Animal Words
By:  Usborne Books

This book is full of animals and has really cool textures.

Barnyard Dance
By: Sandra Boynton

This is another fun book that has dancing and barnyard animals. They've even got a downloadable song for it now!

The Complete Illustrated Children's Bible 
By: Janice Emmerson

I love this book! The illustrations are beautiful, and the authors are good about taking difficult subjects in the Bible and making them kid-friendly. We also got the Spanish version
